Regular Law Moots:
To foster the competence in students effectively to present their
cases in the courts, Law Moots are conducted on regular basis
under the aegis of the Law Moot Committee. For each Law Moot three
to four students are selected, in rotation, as speakers on either
side. The teacher-in-charge renders all possible assistance to
the students preparing a Law Moot. Attendance at a Law Moot is
compulsory for the students of the class for which the Moot is
arranged. Certificates of merit are also given to the students
who perform well at a Moot.
Special Law Moots:
Such Law Moots are conducted on current topics of interest. Attendance
at such a Moot is compulsory for all the students who are notified
to attend.

Moot: The competitive Moot is held on annual basis. The
competitors for the Moot are selected from amongst those who obtain
distinction in the Regular or Special Law Moots during an academic
year. Attendance at the Barrister Jinnah Prize Moot is mandatory
for all the students.
Attendance at an ordinary
Law Moot counts as two lectures, and that at a Special Law Moot
or Barrister Jinnah Prize Moot, as three lectures.

arranges visits, under the supervision of a teacher, to the High
Court and other Courts in small batches of students. The students

the point(s) at issue, the position taken by the parties, the
