Introduction

Punjab Law College is affiliated with the University of the Punjab. Within the parameters prescribed by the University, the College imparts quality education in Law in two sessions (morning and evening), at its well-equipped Campuses at Lahore, Rawalpindi.
We take teaching as trust and all concerned try their best to impart latest knowledge and breed conceptual understanding in our students. We direct our energies towards inculcating in our students the qualities of the head and the heart, so as to make them professionally compact and morally sound. We adopt a teaching style which is a delicate synthesis of technical knowledge and human values, on the one hand, and theoretical knowledge and practical training on the other.

Faculty

Our Faculty is our dignity. The College is lucky to have highly qualified and experienced teachers. They are assigned subjects in the backdrop of their expertise and professional experience.

Guest Speakers

To supplement the efforts of the teachers, and to expose the students to diverse experience, the College invites, for talks and lectures, professionals/scholars, and notable personalities from assorted fields of life. The experience in the past has been rewarding.

Additional Courses

Two additional subjects - (i) Proficiency in English Language, and (ii) Basic IT skills shall be offered to all the students of Lahore Campus. Still, another course on E-commerce Laws will be available for the final year students of that campus. Students shall not be charged any extra fee for the added subjects. The scheme is likely to be extended to the Rawalpindi Campus in the near future.

Tutorials

Tutorials and Special Tutorials, for the assistance of the students, are held on regular basis.

Law Moots

Regular Law Moots are held to impart practical training in the art of advocacy to the students. Special Law Moots on assorted topics are also held. A competitive law moot known as Barrister Jinnah Law Moot is held once in an academic year. Students who acquire the first three positions are awarded cash prizes.

Seminars / Workshops

Seminars and workshops are regularly conducted on various legal issues. Eminent jurists, advocates, teacher and students from other Law Colleges, and professionals from other related fields are invited to speak / participate.

Revision Workshop/ Classes

Revision Workshop/ Classes on selected subjects are held towards the close of a regular session.

Visits

The students are taken to courts, prisions and such like other places to have practical knowledge of these institutions. Good ‘Case Reports’ are awarded cash prizes

Debates and quiz Programmes

Such events provide a golden opportunity to the students to unfold and refine the potentials in them.

Tests and Examinations

To follow up the academic progress of the students, different types of programmes are arranged throughout the session. The programmes include assignments, presentations, class tests, and mid term and final term house examinations.
