Now, a senior member of the PLC Faculty, he has been teaching criminal law for the last more than 12 years. |

Now a senior advocate and experienced teacher, he retired as District and Sessions Judge and also held the office of Director General, Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad. He received advanced judicial training at Federal Judicial Center, Washington and the training in Shariah laws at University of Al Azhar Cairo and at International Islamic University Islamabad. Brig. (r) Ali has got a vast experience in Judge Advocate General Branch, Pakistan Army and has been Judge Advocate General, Pakistan Army from 1998 to 2002. He has been teaching law at Punjab University Law College, Federal Judicial Academy, Karachi University (S. M. Law College) Hamdard University and Pakistan Army’s schools and colleges of instruction.
